Due to renovation work at Quaker House in Bad Pyrmont, it has been decided to hold the Yearly Meeting in Haus Venusberg in 2024. Unfortunately, the prices at the venue, including the fees for room cancellations, have been significantly increased. We have not raised the registration fee to the same extent, in order to enable the widest possible participation. However, in order to mitigate our deficit, we are asking everyone who can afford it to generously supplement their payment with a donation, so that once again children, teens and unemployed Young Friends can attend free of charge. If you yourself are in need of financial support in order to attend the Yearly Meeting, please apply to your local group or area meeting.

Accommodation Situation

Cancellation fees are now being fully applied by Venusberg at a rate of 50% until 14 August, and 70% thereafter. Under these new circumstances, we have reduced our usually generous number of reserved beds. Consequently, we ask that you please only book rooms with private bathroom/WC if absolutely necessary. As always, there are only a few single rooms available. People with special needs are therefore requested to book as early as possible. Bookings received by August 14th have a much better chance of being fulfilled as requested than bookings that arrive later, and these timely bookings will also allow us to avoid cancellation fees. The ultimate closing date for room reservations is September 30th. After this date, it will still be possible to book to attend the Yearly Meeting, but the general booking and room allocation process will then be finalised, and you will have to handle any further bookings personally.
